Patient medication-related behaviour

  Autori: Alina Proca*, Iulian Proca**

Abstract:

No effort is spared by the scientific and medical communities to develop yet more highly efficient medications for improving the quality and prolonging the duration of life. However, one crucial factor is out of their control, namely patients’ ability and/or willingness to take the prescribed drugs. Evaluating health-related behaviour is particularly challenging, so much so that although several methods for doing it are described, none is generally accepted. Following the identification of risk factors for low adherence to medication, related methods for improving it may be proposed Key words: Patient Non-Adherence, Patient

Compliance, HIV, hypertension, aged.
